Moving is never an easy task. And condensing your life to a suitcase and a carryon is definitely a feat. Yet, I think more challenging than those, is the realization that relationships will be left behind as you journey forward. Yeah, we make promises to keep in touch. Then life happens and everyone moves on and those promises to keep in touch are lost in the wind of living. So over the last few days I have been intentional about giving thanks for the relationships I have cultivated over the past years (and faithfully diffusing Gratitude, Joy, Frankincense and Idaho Blue Spruce). Some of these relationships are absolutely priceless and irreplaceable and it is my intention to ensure those around me who have touched my life in some way know it, so if life blows us to and fro and our promises are, unfortunately, not kept my heart is known.

This journey, of preparing to live abroad has been an emotional one and has shown me so much about myself.

So much about others.

So much about life.

And more importantly soooooo much about the faithfulness of the GREAT I AM. (And to think we have not even made it out of the states yet!)

The energy of this move is real. Although, energy may not always be understood, it is definitely felt. I hope my energy of LOVE is received, regardless of where my feet tread. And for all my friends out there, this is for YOU:

Thank you for being a friend

Traveled down the road and back again

Your heart is true you’re a pal and a confidant

And if you threw a party

Invited everyone you ever knew

You would see the biggest gift would be from me

And the card attached would say thank you for being a friend.

I am thankful for the authentic relationships that have been encapsulated with love and divinely orchestrated for growth.

(authentic = not false or imitation; true to one’s own personality, spirit, or character; sincere)

Stay connected because the journey continues…
